ashgrove baptist church is celebrating mothers:

• at our worship gatherings at 10am (followed by morning tea) + 6pm (followed by supper)
• pamper zone - following the 10am workship gathering. Luxurious hand massages for mums!
• mums on the big screen - see below.
• make a difference - see below for how to scatter joy this Mothers' Day.

Mums on the Big Screen....

We are collecting photographs for a celebration of mothers@ ashgrove this mothers' day--Sunday 9 May.
Do you have a photograph of you with your mum? Or perhaps a photograph of you with your kids?

Send your digital (or scanned) photograph to communications@ashgrove.org.au or pop into the church office
with your photograph and we can scan it for you (we'd be happy to email you the copy so you have it for your records, too). Please include the names of the mother and children who appear in the photograph in your email.
Photographs need to be submitted by Thursday 6 May to be included.
Make sure you are at the 10am and 6.30pm worship gatherings on Sunday 9 May to see your smiling faces on the big screen!

Make a Difference - scatter joy this Mother's Day beyond your own mum...

Within the Southside Education community, there are 20 young mums that we would love to spoil this mothers’ day!

Southside Education is a secondary education model for young women. Staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of teachers, counsellor, youth workers, and family workers, Southside believes education means preparing all young people for a fulfilling and active life in the community.

You can make a difference to mums in the community by bringing to church a few items from the list below. We are asking everyone to bring one or more items on the shopping list to contribute to these gifts.
You can drop your items off in the auditorium at the 10am and 6.30pm worship gatherings on Mothers’ Day.
Our team of helpers will be ready to receive and package your gifts.

• nail care - Nail polish, Nail file/emery boards/kits, Nail polish remover, Nail clippers, Hand crème
• body care- Body lotion (Nivea), Body wash/shower gel (Dove)
• hair care - shampoo + conditioner(Garnier, Pantene)
• make up -Lip gloss (Max Factor, Covergirl, Maybelline), Mascara
• $10 gift vouchers -Coffee Club, Diva (jewellry store),Coles/Myer or Woolworths
