ashgrove Community Care Appeal

As ashgrove lives out transforming our local community through Jesus, unique opportunities arise
for us to be part of the work of ashgrove communitycare.

During the month of June we are committed to raising upwards of $20,000 towards
the work of ashgrove community care. These funds will be used to assist and love
people facing health issues // those with limited financialresources // those in crisis // those needing access to professional counseling services.

Through ashgrove community care we are seeking to:
// Create direct opportunities to extend the existing Care Team services and programs of ashgrove
beyond the church community and into the local community.
// Provide a platform for the building of credible and meaningful relationships with other local
community groups, service providers, businesses, schools and individuals from the local community.
// Provide new avenues of expression for those from ashgrove who desire to serve the local community.
// Meet identified community needs that ashgrove can address.

Being the hands, feet and heart of Jesus can take many forms //distributing emergency meals and
Christmas hampers // enabling people in crisis to access ongoing counseling and support // assisting the
unemployed to relocate to where work is available.

We encourage you to prayerfully and generously give in 2010.

Donations ? $2 are tax deductable and can be made by credit card, cash or cheque (payable to Ashgrove Baptist Church). Donations need to be accompanied by donor details - refer to rear page of attached flyer for required donor information.
