Seniors' Celebration

Date: 20 August 2010

Come along on Friday 20th August for a morning celebrating the contribution that Seniors make to our lives and the local community.
The free celebration includes:

• a high tea
• service expo
• sing a-long
• two talk spots - one on the topic of Falls Prevention
• a free gift bag

Service Provider groups such as retirement villages and health services will also have stands providing information on some of the services available to seniors.

The event begins at 10am until 12 noon at the Ashgrove Baptist Church, 7 Firhill Street.

Disabled access is available.

This year the event is sponsored by the Queensland Government and is collaborating with local partners Toowong Community Health and the Bardon based organisation Communify.
