If you have walked down the aisles of Coles or Woolworths lately, you may have noticed that Christmas stock is now in store! Yes folks, it is that time of the year again. Christmas is coming, and coming fast! We too at ashgrove, are beginning preparations for the fun, festivity and excitement which is christmas@ashgrove!
Everything that we have come to know and love about christmas@ashgrove will be back again this year. There will be the fabulous food, Christmas carols, glow sticks, families, friends, colour & comedy, animals, rock climbing walls, face painting, expresso coffee and so much more! Who knows, perhaps those men in colourful skivvies will even make another appearance! And of course, we continue to build upon each year of this great tradition. So keep a look out on the day for the newest addition to the fun!
For those of you who are yet to experience a christmas@ashgrove, you are in for a treat! Christmas@ashgrove is a great afternoon and evening of free family fun to which everyone is invited! Giving is at the heart of Christmas. God gave his only son, Jesus that we might know peace and experience hope. And we at ashgrove like to celebrate this gift by giving our local community an opportunity to enjoy Christmas together.
Mark the dates in your diary - Sunday 12th December from 4.30pm and look out for ways that you can join the team of 100+ ashgrovians who work together to make christmas@ashgrove a day of real joy. Many 'regulars' have signed up already to play their part in this gift to the local community, doing their usual christmas@ashgrove serving 'thing'. We marvel at the team that makes this event happen and look forward to serving with each one of you on the day.
Be praying now for christmas@ashgrove, the planning and preparation, the weather, for safety, for each person that will come and for God to be made known to people who do not know him.
