God♥Families...and we do too!

Adults singing 'Jesus is My Superhero'? 50 kids worshipping Jesus right up the front of the auditorium? If you're thinking that doesn't sound much like a regular service you'd be right - it wasn't.  It was the God♥families service and it was great to see so many families out enjoying the morning together. 

Instead of sending the kids out to Fuel for the morning, at this special family service, Fuel came to us!  Around 50 kids came streaming down each aisle worshipping Jesus to songs like 'We Wanna Sing' and 'Jesus is My Superhero'.  Their enthusiastic worship was infectious!

Tim Sweetman also spoke on the morning about how it's God's heart for us to be people who fight for the family unit, and who build healthy community. 

After the service there was a relaxed time where families could hang out together, enjoy a sausage sizzle and for the kids there was face painting, Nintendo wii on the big screen and heaps of other fun activities.

The God♥family service was a great morning where the value and importance that God places on family and community was seen in action.
