Ministry Team Vacancy

ashgrove is expanding its Ministry Team for 2010 and beyond. We are looking to fill a Ministry Team position in the areas of Children

Children (Program Director)
Co-ordinates, develops and deliver programs and resources for children under the direction of a Team Leader; leads and empowers a team of volunteers who work with Children.

We are open to the ways in which this position is may be met. Whether you are interested in a full or part-time position, paid or unpaid, we would like to explore our ministry future together. Potential applicants should have abilities and experience in leading, facilitating, and empowering teams. Positions are available to suit the successful applicants’ skill mix (in one or more of the above areas) and availability.

A recent review of our church and its ministries has seen the initial emergence of the following priorities as we move into the future:
· Increasing visibility in the community via an incarnational approach;
· Meeting a diversity of needs within and without the church;
· Building on and extending outreach and discipleship activities;
· Recognising current demographics in focussing ministry efforts; and
· Being relational in our approaches,
whilst maintaining our current commitment to being God–honouring, Christ-centred and Bible based.
