a great christmas gift

Can you believe christmas is almost here! In fact there are only ten more days before ashgrove hosts all its usual christmas fun on the afternoon of Sunday 11 December. In the lead up to this community event, there is still lots to be done. As well as coming along and enjoying the day, why not also make Christmas@ashgrove your gift to the community this year...

You might make it your gift to:

★cook a snag

★move a chair

★handout a flyer

★invite your neighbour

★Paint a face

People will be needed in the lead up, setting up on the day, running activities, and helping to pack up on the day. If you are inviting people (which we hope you are!), offer to help out setting up or packing down so you can still be good hosts, or lend a hand in the lead up to the big event.

You are needed - in fact christmas@ashgrove cannot happen without all of you playing your part! It will take more than 100 ashgrovian's to make it all happen on the day!

Some dates for helping out:

★★This Saturday - come along anytime between 8am to 12noon and help make our facilities neat and tidy for the big day.

★★This Sunday - come along for supper+prayer after the pm worship gathering.

★★ During the week - pray about who you could invite, and that God will be preparing hearts.

★★On the day (11 Dec) - From 1pm - 3pm (to set up)

★★On the day (11 Dec)  - During the afternoon (BBQ Team, Face Painting, Christmas Craft, Racing Car, Wii PLaystation, Welcoming Team, Pamper Tent Team)

★★On the day (11 Dec) - from 8.30pm to pack down after the event (1 hour)
