As part of our Easter celebrations on March 29 – April 21 , Ashgrove Baptist Church will be hosting special services and an Art Exhibition in the Auditorium.
The Art Exhibition will open with a viewing reflection and prayer space on Thursday March 29th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
The Easter services will be held on Friday March 30th at 9:00 am and Sunday April 1 at 10:00 am. These services will include music, drama, Art Exhibition and Easter message.
Our theme for this year is “Promise.” God declared many promises in scripture in Jesus Christ the promises of God are fulfilled.
God’s promise of blessing, restoration, healing, his sustaining presence, an eternal inheritance and so many more, are made complete in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
It speaks of Jesus’ death and resurrection bridging the divide that sin has left between us and our Heavenly Father.
It speaks of the restoration of relationship we can now enjoy with God because of Jesus’ sacrifice.
Art is a beautiful and powerful means of representing and reflecting on things of the Spirit. If you have a passion for the arts, we warmly invite you to contribute one or more pieces to our Art Exhibition. Our invitation extends to all ages and experience and includes any genre (painting, drawing, etching, photography, sculpture, digital/graphic design, poetry, craft, embroidery, woodwork, metalwork, ceramics).
As we remember and celebrate Jesus this Easter we would love to present those in our church and community with personal, creative expressions of “Promise”. If you would like to participate in our Easter Art Exhibition or for more details, please contact Kerri Sweetman at the church office on 3366 2066 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
