At Ashgrove Baptist has a number of popular weekly ministries including Playcentre, Kids Club, Youth Group and Kids Church.

Playcentre is our popular weekly playgroup run by Ashgrove Baptist Church for children and their parents or carers. Children have the opportunity to freely play and learn together with indoor educational toys, outdoor playground equipment, sing a long and fresh arts and crafts each week. Parents or care givers can enjoy morning tea and coffee together within a supportive community. Playcentre is a nut free zone.

Jam is our Friday night Kids’ club! Its a great way for parents to take some time out on a Friday night!
Themed nights, fun activities, Bible input, meal provided. Runs every second Friday during school term.

Age Group: Prep – Grade 6
Time: 5:30pm Fridays during term
Cost: $4 Per Child per night

Fuel is our Sunday School the runs during school term. We have separate classes for different ages groups. Each age group has fun new activities each week with bible based teaching.
Age Group: 3 Years – Grade 9
Time 10:30 am – 11:30 Sundays

Genesis Youth group bring together youth from and our church and community every Friday night. There is an awesome program of fun activities like water fights, camp fires, games, challenges, pizza and movies.
Age Group: Grade 7 – 12
Cost: $2pp per night
Time: 6:30 pm – 9:00pm

Weekly Life Groups

Register for Term 3 2019

We have a large range of Life Group that cater to different demographics, locations and times to suit you. Life Groups are the best way to get connected and encourage each other. We would love for you to join one of our Life Groups. Each Life Group has bible based teaching, fellowship, prayer and social activities. Click on the link to find the right group for you.


Join our weekly craft group and learn from others about quilting, sewing, knitting and any other craft you would like to try. So bring along your current craft project to work on and get some tips. Enjoy making new friends over free morning tea. 
Time 9:30am Thursdays during school term. 

Seniors Coffee club

Our Seniors Coffee Club bring everyone together to enjoy regular activities together over a cup of coffee. Your welcome to come along just contact us.

Girls’ Gatherings

Various social events (breakfasts, coffee nights, craft and cooking nights), designed to connect women of all ages, are held periodically throughout the year.


Our men’s Life Groups are the best way to connect with other men through bible study, fellowship and fun social activities.

Young Adults

Our Young Adult Life Groups are the best way to connect with other Young Adults through bible study, fellowship and social activities.


Weekly prayer meetings are held during school terms. Our Prayer Ministry Team would love to pray with you at the end of church. Or email your prayer request to and our prayer team will pray for you.

Pastoral Care

We provide weekly pastoral care to our congregation and community. We Provide spiritual and practical support for our church and community through home and hospital visits, emergency meals, prayer and counselling.
